Dr. Robert Cooper Delivers the Keynote Address at the ISBM Annual Members Conference

ANCASTER, ONTARIO, CANADA – September 20, 2005 - The Product Development Institute, today announced that Dr. Robert Cooper, co-founder of the Product Development Institute and Stage-Gate, Inc., delivered the Keynote Address at the ISBM Annual Members Conference on August 23, 2005 in State College, PA.

The Conference’s focus this year was Key Challenges for B-to-B: Innovation and Organization. ISBM is the Institute for the Study of Business Markets and it is housed within Penn State University’s Smeal College of Business Administration. Dr. Cooper’s keynote presentation “The State of Product Innovation Practice in Business-to-Business” reflected on the deteriorating performance of new product development in America, the reasons why, and what companies can do to improve their NPD productivity.
